A lucky lottery player has pocketed £5,200,000 in the latest Lotto draw.

Another millionaire has been created after a mystery player won big in last night’s National Lottery draw.

They scooped up the life-changing amount with winning numbers  27, 36, 39, 48, 57, 59 plus the bonus number 45.

The identity of the winner has not been revealed, but somewhere a lucky player had the surprise of a lifetime after the numbers were announced.

Meanwhile, time is running out for another winner who bagged the Set For Life win.

An urgent search continues for the mystery winner who has not been found.

The unknown player bought their ticket in Sevenoaks last October, but has not come forward to claim the £10,000 a month for 30 years prize.

They have just four days to find the ticket and get in touch with the National Lottery before losing out on the money.

In last night’s lottery game, 29 players also won £1,750 each after matching five of the lucky numbers.

While no one took home the Thunderball top prize of £500,000, not all players were left empty-handed as one person matched five numbers and pocketed £5,000.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: ‘What wonderful news for our lucky Lotto players, as one ticket-holder has won tonight’s £5.2 million jackpot.

Top biggest EuroMillions wins ever

€240 million (£200,733,952), December 8, 2023, anonymous winner, Austria

€230 million (£192,376,378), July 19, 2022, anonymous winner, UK

€220 million (£184,022,527), October 15, 2021, anonymous winner, Haiti (French Polynesia)

€215 million (£179,830,489), May 10, 2022, Jess and Joe Thwaite, UK

€213 million (£178,122,727), June 25, 2024, anonymous winner, Portugal

‘That makes it two Lotto jackpot wins so far this month after another lucky ticket-holder won the £7.3 million jackpot on April 5.

‘Players are urged to check their tickets and to give us a call if they think they are tonight’s lucky winner.’

Now the timer is ticking for the latest Lotto winner to contact the lottery team who deal with winners.

In general, prizes must be claimed within 180 days after the draw.

If you play the lottery by purchasing a traditional ticket, it might not be a bad idea to take a picture of it in case it is lost or damaged.

This weekend, the Saturday Lotto draw has a £15,000,000 special jackpot up for grabs with the right numbers.

As dreamy as winning the lottery sounds, it has the potential to ruin your life.

Sudden, huge amounts of money have thrown many people into chaos after they were not able to handle the change.

Unlucky winners have lost it all – and some have become targets of criminals and even kidnapping due to their newfound fortune.
