Chris Eubank made a shock appearance to reunite with his son ahead of Chris Eubank Jr’s fight with Conor Benn on Saturday night.

Billy Joe Saunders was involved in a heated exchange with security staff as he attempted to gain access to Chris Eubank Jr’s dressing room before his fight with Conor Benn on Saturday night.

Saunders beat Eubank Jr via split decision in 2014 and has been vocal in his dislike of the 35-year-old since their fight.

The former WBO middleweight and super-middleweight champion has not fought since his defeat to Canelo Alvarez in Texas in 2021.

Saunders was in attendance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday and attempted to make his way into Eubank Jr’s dressing room.

But as he got to the door, a member of Eubank Jr’s entourage approached Saunders and asked: ‘What’s happening, Billy?’

Saunders replied: ‘No cheating lads, we want fair wrapping, no cheating.’

Eubank Jr and Benn will go to war tomorrow.
