More big Emmerdale schedule changes ahead
Both Emmerdale and Coronation Street are set to face huge schedule changes from 2026, as ITV cut back on the number of episodes being aired.
The ITV soaps will both air 30 minute episodes on weekday nights, with Emmerdale set to air at 8pm, followed by Corrie at 8.30pm.
Bosses have revealed that the changes come as a result of research into audience viewing habits.
The changes are set to be marked by a huge stunt at the beginning of next year.
