Footage has emerged of the pre-fight party held at Daniel Dubois’ home just hours before his undisputed world heavyweight title defeat to Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday.
The 27-year-old lost his IBF heavyweight title as he was knocked out in the fifth round by Usyk, who delivered a dominant display in their rematch at Wembley.
However, Dubois’ preparations for the biggest fight of his career to date were chaotic as he arrived at Wembley less than 90 minutes before he was due to make his ring walk. In contrast, Usyk arrived 45 minutes earlier than his opponent.
It has also emerged that Dubois’ father, Stanley, arranged a party at the family mansion in Essex on the day of the fight.
In the footage taken at the gathering, partygoers could be heard shouting, ‘and the new’, in anticipation of Dubois beating Usyk to become the new undisputed world heavyweight later that day.
Dubois was also seen smiling and posing for photos with the guests.

According to The Times, Dubois did not know every person who attended the party and left the gathering at one point for a drive.
The report adds that Stanley Dubois requested extra cars to bring his entourage from the party to Wembley, while his son had to walk to the entrance on foot from the car park as the vehicle he arrived in was not accredited.
Security at Wembley also tried to prevent some of Dubois’ extra entourage from entering the stadium before Stanley threatened that the fight would not go ahead if they were not let in.

Joseph Parker, who is the mandatory challenger for Usyk’s WBO belt, said he is ‘shocked’ by Dubois’ preparations for the fight.
‘That is insanely disruptive,’ Parker said on talkSPORT’s talkBOXING show.
‘I’m very surprised, I’m shocked. That many people over? You’re preparing for a massive fight.
‘You need rest, you need to chill, you need to get in the zone, and he’s got this big party happening.’
Lawrence Okolie, who has trained alongside Dubois, added: ‘The problem is, it’s coming from someone that he looks [to] out of the ring. It’s coming from his dad.
‘I’ve trained with him, his dad’s a huge part of his life, so that is obviously going to be disruptive.’

Meanwhile, talkSPORT broadcaster Simon Jordan has suggested that Dubois’ father had become a ‘destructive force’ on the day of the fight.
‘There is a lot of noise, and again, this must not be used as an excuse for Oleksandr Usyk’s excellence,’ Jordan told talkSPORT.
‘But he [Dubois] had a party at his house before the event, and you have 50,60,70 people at a party that the kid doesn’t know, so he has to go round the corner and drive because he doesn’t know anyone at the party.
‘And then you get to the event, and people want this entourage to be brought in. And then they start telling security guards that if the entourage isn’t allowed to come in, then Daniel won’t fight.
‘And then his dad has other things to say in the corner, which I don’t think are particularly productive. Once upon a time, it was considered to be useful because Daniel defers to his father on everything, and I’m not suggesting that his father hasn’t been a massive influence in what we have seen.
‘But I’m suggesting there is a balance between being an influence and a destructive force. Don Charles is an employee. Don Charles is in the corner working for Daniel Dubois’ father.
‘I’m not looking for excuses, but I’m just saying that I’m not sure the preparation on the day of the event is where it should have been.
‘I’m not saying that Oleksandr Usyk wouldn’t have done the same thing to Daniel Dubois, but it doesn’t help him.’
